Through its Chinese Calendar collection, the Maison Caran d’Ache brings new life to the legends behind the symbols in the Chinese Zodiac. The “Year of the Rat” limited edition is part of this line of exceptional writing instruments, celebrating the Chinese Year of the Rat in 2020. 1st animal in the Chinese Zodiac cycle, the rat symbolises ingenuity, the desire to confront challenges and good fortune. Those born under the rat have an aptitude for organisation and can expect a smooth and prosperous year ahead.
