An exlusive collaboration between Caran d'Ache and the French artist Beya Rebaï

Working in collaboration with French illustrator Beya Rebaï, Caran d’Ache unveils two original Neocolor® II Aquarelle assortments together with accompanying online classes presenting the artist’s favourite techniques. To mark this occasion, our Neocolor® ambassador presents a selection of works in Lausanne created using her favourite medium, wax oil pastels – a chance to plunge into her colourful and poetic world.

About Beya Rebaï

A Caran d’Ache ambassador since 2020, Beya Rebaï is a French artist who uses her Neocolor® II Aquarelle to create dreamlike landscapes whose vibrant colours delight a community of followers that is growing every day.

Fascinated by colour and the artistic movement of les Nabis, her works are developed using a colourful yet limited range of carefully selected shades. These pastels, with bright vibrant colours and a velvety texture, are essential instruments for her work with some of the biggest names including The Guardian, the NY Times, les Échos and Nike to name but a few.

Two new Neocolor® II Aquarelle sets created in collaboration with Beya Rebaï

For Caran d’Ache, Beya Rebaï has dreamed up two original assortments of Neocolor® II Aquarelle consisting of the artist’s favourite shades. The first, in cold shades , plays on a range of blues, greens and pinks. The other, in warmer tones, offers a range of yellows, oranges and umber. These two inspirational palettes offer a whole host of creative possibilities that will delight budding artists and experienced illustrators alike.

Creative online workshops

Each assortment contains a QR code for an exclusive surprise : a creative online workshop (in English, French, and German) run by the artist in person to demonstrate how to make the best possible use of these versatile pastels while offering a chance to discover all the artist’s favourite techniques and tips.

And as Caran d’Ache is keen to support young artists both from the local area and from abroad, a selection of works by Beya Rebaï will be on show from 20 May to 5 June at the Espace Créatif Caran d’Ache, Plateforme 10, 16, Pl. de la Gare in Lausanne .
